Joseph Addotta was originally born in New York and now resides and works in Southern California. Beginning as a jeweler, Mr. Addotta spent years studying traditional techniques of metalsmithing here in the United States as well as in Europe. He eventually moved into sculpture, using the Lost Wax Technique of casting, designing and creating for numerous collectors, galleries, fine stores and museums. Among Joe Addotta's clients are these well-known retailers: Gump's, Neiman Marcus, The Nature Company, The Southbay Gallerie, Hamilton Studio, Natural Wonders and the most discriminating collectors throughout the world. The award-winning creations of Mr. Addotta have been the subject of many fine exhibitions.

Recently, Joseph Addotta has broadened his body of work to include miniatures, perfume bottles, and decorative accessories. New designs are continuously added. Conceived in genius, formed by hand and preserved in metal, these artistic achievements have acquired international acclaim. For in creating these fine objects, Mr. Addotta's work reflects a profound feeling for the living beauty of the world around us.
